Dear graduate students on assistantships who desire payroll deduction for Spring 2015,

We have posted over 900 graduate student payroll deductions for the authorized amounts for Spring 2015. If you haven’t already, please check your account to verify your deduction has been posted for the amount you expected.  If you believe you have signed up for the graduate payroll deduction for Spring 2015 residual tuition and fees and your payroll deduction has not yet been posted to your account please contact me as soon as you can so we can figure out why.  Some reasons payroll deductions may not be posted are:

  • Students are not enrolled in at least 10 credits
  • Students submitted their authorizations yesterday (they will be posted  later today)
  • Students think they have signed up but they really haven’t. If you signed up for the Spring 2015 deduction you should have received an email confirming your authorization

Graduate payroll deduction can only be used for residual tuition and mandatory fees. Special class fees and optional grad insurance coverage for spouses or dependents cannot be payroll deducted.

The deadline to sign up for payroll deduction is Monday, January 26th.   Late fees are assessed on unpaid student account balances on Tuesday, January 27th.   Instructions for submitting your graduate payroll deduction can be found here: http://www.wsu.edu/payroll/stntpay/gradenroll.htm Rick Grunewald, Associate Director, WSU Payroll Services, Phone: 509-335-2014, Fax: 509-335-1472
