ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Alix Whitener’s PhD Preliminary Exam is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th at 9:00 AM in FSHN 164 (Entomology Conference Room).  The AMS dial # is:  5701602.

Our next Entomology Department Colloquium will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. The presenter will be Dr. Joanna Kelley, WSU School of Biological Sciences. The first BUGGS* Presentation of the year will be on October 15, at 4:00 PM in FSHN T101.  The speaker will be Dr. Wyatt Hoback.  Dr. Hoback is with the Department of Entomology & Plant Pathology at Oklahoma State University.  The title of his seminar is “Ockham’s Razor and the Importance of Testing Assumptions in Entomological Research.”  For more info see the attached flyer.  (*Bi-University Guest Speaker Series)
