Research Interests

Mission oriented research to enhance biological control of pest insects in tree-fruit and potato; genetics, especially molecular population genetics, of pest and beneficial species; ecology and conservation of key natural enemies; evaluation of low insecticide inputs and biorational insecticides.

My efforts include introduction and evaluation of exotic beneficials and my newest interest is the development of molecular markers to evaluate predation rates of key predatory insects and feeding history of various herbivorous species.
