OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
For the students to:
- Develop an appreciation for the effects that arthropods have on warm-blooded, especially domesticated animals.
- Recognize and be able to identify arthropods that affect certain warm-blooded animal hosts.
- Know the general ecology, distribution and importance of arthropods and the diseases they vector.
- Understand the epidemiology of arbodiseases.
- Become familiar with the management efforts employed to control arthropods or veterinary importance.
