OBJECTIVES OF COURSE

  1. To introduce students of the history of chemical insect control.
  2. To explain to students the mode of action of insecticides in both target and non-target organisms.
  3. To alert students of the dangers of insecticides toward both target and non-target organisms.
  4. To provide students with information about new insecticides and new strategies to control insects today and in the future.
