Noncropland Weed Biological Control

OBJECTIVES OF COURSE

  1. To provide the student with the opportunity to clarify those theoretical principles presented in the classroom through a personal acquaintance with their practical applications.
  2. To develop and practice biological control agent collection, production, release and evaluation techniques.
  3. To increase student understanding of the work performed by regional biological control of weeds practitioners.

GRADING CRITERIA

  • A grade (P/F) is awarded based upon growth in the student's understanding and skills as evidenced by performance, consultation, and evaluation of a technical report prepared by the student.
