OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
- To develop an understanding of the importance, necessity and
methodology of integrated pest management in agriculture.
- To develop a holistic appreciation for the interdisciplinary
application of insect, weed, plant pathogen and vermin management
programs.
- To understand the problems of pesticide use and the relationship
of pest management to ecological principles.
