OBJECTIVES OF COURSE

  1. To develop an understanding of the importance, necessity and methodology of integrated pest management in agriculture.
  2. To develop a holistic appreciation for the interdisciplinary application of insect, weed, plant pathogen and vermin management programs.
  3. To understand the problems of pesticide use and the relationship of pest management to ecological principles.
