OBJECTIVES OF COURSE
- Acquire an appreciation of current local, regional, national
and global pesticide use patterns with particular emphasis on
adverse environmental impacts associated with use.
- Become cognizant of factors that must be considered in making
decisions to utilize pesticides, particularly sociological and
environmental considerations.
- Accumulate information which provides an excellent knowledge
base for pesticide applicator licensing examinations administered
by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
