Each year the WSU Department of Entomology selects graduate students to recognize for the Outstanding Ph.D. and M.S. Student of the Year Awards. These awards are based on demonstrated excellence, as well as their broader impacts as a member of the entomological discipline. This includes, but is not limited to, academic excellence in coursework, research excellence through presentations and publications, extension excellence when warranted through presentations and publications, or impact, and demonstrated service, scholarship, and outreach activities of the student.
