A WSU OGRD Graduate Grant Writing Workshop will be held on March 28 (Saturday) between 9am – 5pm. To sign up, please visit the website. Once students arrive at the website they need to sign up at the bottom of the workshop description. Students can also set up one-on-one meetings with Hannah Merley with assistance in funding searches, proposal editing, and an explanation of the submission process.

2015 Wiley Research Exposition Friday, February 20, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Compton Union Building, Pullman. The Wiley Research Exposition, hosted by the WSU Graduate and Professional Student Association, provides WSU undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present research and scholarship to their peers, alumni, faculty, and the WSU community.  Over $23,000 in scholarships will be awarded to the top presenters in eight disciplines. This interactive workshop and panel discussion will help students of all disciplines prepare and deliver more effective presentations. Skylight survey users should download their data by Feb 28 (Deadline extended)

WSU faculty and staff should finish downloading their own historic survey data from Skylight for their records, both questionnaires and results.  The deadline has been extended to the end of February.

January – February 2015: Open access for previous Skylight users to their surveys and data.

  • Access to your Skylight surveys will be by request only. Email to initiate request.
  • Allow five to seven business days to process your request.

June 2015: Skylight decommissioned.  No archive will be available.

Surveys in 2015:  WSU has a license in place for faculty and staff to use Qualtrics for surveys.  See for more information.

The Office of International Programs and the Office of Research would like to announce the Third Annual International Research Travel Award application process is now open for 2015. The collaborative program will fund 3-5 International Research Travel Awards to WSU faculty ranging from $2,000-$5,000 each.  These awards are to assist faculty in achieving tangible outcomes e.g. joint publications or research proposals. The 2015 International Research Travel Award Request for Proposal is now online.  All proposals are due by March 1, 2015.
