A big congratulations to Robbie Zinna who won 2nd place in the campus wide 3 Minute Thesis competition that was held on Thursday, March 26th.   He was the winner of the CAHNRS competition. A very nice monetary award comes with this recognition.  This is the second year for this competition at WSU. The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. Ph.D. students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. 3MT is not an exercise in trivializing or ‘dumbing-down’ research, but challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-specialist audience.

The EGSA Insect Expo is scheduled for Saturday April 4 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Ensminger PavilionThis is a great family friendly community event that our students put a lot of work into.  Pass the word on to your friends with children.
