Course Objectives

For the students to be able to:

  1. Become familiar with insect morphological and anatomical structures.
  2. Recognize the orders and more important families of insects.
  3. Properly prepare insects, their immature stages and associated artificats for scientific study.
  4. Compose detailed notes recording field activities and observations.
