Entomology Department grant awardees:

Betsy Beers who is the recipient of $6,000. Grant from Arysa Lifescience  and a $8,000 grant from ADAMA to work on Support Concerning Insect Control on Tree Fruit.  (12/14/2017). John Stark is the recipient of a WSU Foundation, Global Corporate Citizenship, Boeing grant of $95,000 to work on Bringing Science Home: Using Research to Create Effective Stormwater management programs- Phase 1.  (12/11/2017) Walter Sheppard and Brandon Hopkins received $12,120 grant from the USDA/ARS to work on Honey Bee Surveys. The WSU winter Commencement is this Saturday, Dec 9th, at 10:00 AM, at Beasley Coliseum.  This year, there are 726 undergraduates, 67 masters and MBA’s and 54 Ph.D.’s scheduled to walk in the commencement ceremony.  The ceremony can be viewed live online at https://www.experience.wsu.edu/. Your help was greatly appreciated. The members of the WSU Honey Bees and Pollinators team hosted a WSU Dad’s Weekend event on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center.
