The Department of Entomology at Washington State University recently has been approved by the ARCS Foundation’s National and Seattle Chapter boards for Annual Fellowship funding. These Fellowships are directed towards high caliber scientists and researchers entering into their PhD graduate program and are awarded for three years in addition to assistantship support. The ARC Foundation Seattle Chapter was founded in 1978 and currently supports 121 PhD candidates between the University of Washington and Washington State University. The ARCS national foundation recognizes the Department of Entomology as a leading institution producing elite scholars meeting the standards of their fellowship. It is an honor to be among the limited funded department nationally, and have our top PhD student recognized for their contributions to their fields.
